Welcome to the Lagan Valley Orange Historical Society The society was formed in Lisburn in January 2004 to
promote a knowledge and understanding through education of the loyal orders in Ireland.
Our society have joined with the Lagan Valley Arts and Cultural Society to promote a exhibition of artifacts of the Royal Black Institution. During this week there will also be a banner parade, a lecture on the history of the Royal Black Institution and a drumming match. Our society is embarking on organising a number of exhibitions of badges and jewels connected with the loyal orders in Ireland. When the dates are finalised we will publish them on our website. At present the society is researching the history of Lisburn District Loyal Orange Lodge No.6
